Signed by the as-yet-mysterious Ruby, this engaging seascape is packed with fine detail and glows with bright colours. A lone rowing boat sits on the rocky shore, with the view towards the ocean seemingly that of the recently-landed rower, gazing into the setting sun and breaking waves through banks of dunes covered by finely painted reeds. The sharp, spectacular blues are leavened by the creamy yellows of the setting sun, gleaming on the distant swells through the gathering dusky mist.
