This print is a faithfully printed facsimile of the original watercolour by the respected South African artist Lucy Wiles. Known for her sensitive interpretation of the late colonial "native study" (sic) style popular in the 1920's and 30's, this particular example perfectly captures the charm and innocence of early childhood.
